Disappointing, Dirty and Destructible..
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I have a 4 month old Lab puppy who loves the water and loves to retrieve. I figured this toy would be perfect for her, and it was – for the first couple of hours. When I gave it to her, she absolutely loved it. You can throw it and it spins in the air kind of like a frisbee. My pup loves to chase it and retrieve.
The problems started when we played tug-of-war. The seams ripped after a couple of tugs and there are holes where her teeth bit through – hardly the “durable double stitching” that is advertised. The tugs were not even that hard. I can’t imagine what it would be like with a full-grown dog or a “power tugger”. My puppy is not a destructive chewer either which is why I was so surprised when it ripped. She enjoyed the toy in the water and it is now strictly a closely supervised “water toy” for the pool – no tugging games, even though the description says it’s good for playing tug-of-war.
Lastly, this toy gets dirty very easily. We have a grass lawn in the back yard but just from throwing it and having her retrieve it, this toy comes back filthy.
After one day it was ripped and dirty which was very disappointing to me. We can still play with it but not in the way the description says and only with lots of trips to the washing machine!
Your dog will love this!

Its large and your dog has lots of options with where to grab it to retreive it! Great value considering most large water toys for dogs are much more expensive! It’s also very durable. Our 3 Golden’s just love it!
Not a chew toy

Our Chesapeake loved this toy, but ripped open a seam on the 2nd day, and managed to pull out all the stuffing and the squeaker within a week(even after repairing). Made a huge mess!
hexapus

This product is advertised as an octopus, but it is actually a hexapus. A hexapus does exist, though, as a British aquarium discovered a hexapus in March 2008.
Pup is a red wing fan!!!!

Great, durable toy. Our dog loves the squeaker sound. He destroys toys in a matter of minutes, but this one is still intact. Great product.
